King County Children and Family CommissionThe King County Children and Family Commission is a citizen advisory board. It is appointed by the King County and confirmed by the Metropolitan King County Council. It is composed of business people, educators, parents, youth, community leaders, and advocates who share a passion for identifying and implementing innovative approaches to solve community problems.

It oversees, evaluates, and reviews implementation of policies adopted by the King County Council concerning children and families and builds links between the County's service system, communities, and schools. The Commission created Portal to Partners to provide an easily accessible link between the business community and community programs serving children and families.

The Commission's commitment to this project is to provide the staff support to implement the program and oversee, evaluate, and review all participating community agencies in the project. This involvement will assure you that your investment is going to a program that is credible and has proven results.
